President Greets the People of Uzbekistan for New Year 2025

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended heartfelt New Year 2025 wishes to the people of Uzbekistan, emphasizing unity and progress in his address.

Reflecting on the challenges and achievements of 2024, the president noted that despite global difficulties, the year proved prosperous for Uzbekistan. He credited the nation’s success to the dedication and socio-political engagement of its citizens. “The vision of a New Uzbekistan is becoming a reality,” Mirziyoyev affirmed, underscoring the collective efforts that have driven the nation forward.

President Mirziyoyev highlighted several milestones that marked the year, including successful elections to the Oliy Majlis and local kengashes, the launch of new projects, rising incomes, and improved living standards. He emphasized the construction of new housing and the nation’s achievements at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which bolstered Uzbekistan’s growing international reputation. He attributed these successes to the atmosphere of friendship and harmony within society, expressing gratitude to the “creative people of Uzbekistan” for their hard work and dedication to the Motherland.

Looking ahead to 2025, the president outlined his government’s priorities. Economic reforms will include expanding opportunities for businesses, protecting private property, and actively attracting foreign investments. Social development will focus on increasing wages, pensions, and allowances, alongside nurturing a generation equipped with modern knowledge and skills. Emphasis will be placed on science, education, healthcare, culture, arts, and sports to ensure holistic development. Programs to support veterans, women, and youth, as well as improved social protection frameworks, will remain key priorities.

The president also pledged to strengthen the Armed Forces and provide better support for servicemen and their families, reflecting the government’s commitment to national security and stability.

“In short, united as one, we will act to implement our fundamental principle: For the sake of people, for their happiness!” Mirziyoyev concluded, inspiring citizens to embrace the New Year 2025 with optimism and determination.

As Uzbekistan steps into the new year, the president’s message resonates with a vision of unity, progress, and shared prosperity, embodying the collective spirit of the nation.
