Qadir, who last represented Pakistan in October 2023, remains hopeful for a comeback and aims to catch the eye of national selectors with consistent performances. “I’m working on my power-hitting in the nets. I give my best and leave the rest to Allah,” he told Cricket Pakistan.

Qadir was not included in Pakistan’s squad for the recent 2024 T20 World Cup. The team faced defeats against the USA and India but managed to secure victories over Canada and Ireland. Despite these wins, Pakistan did not advance to the Super Eights.
