Uzbekistan Plans New Tourism Brand by October 1

Uzbekistan aims to boost tourism with a new brand, enhancing its image as a safe travel destination. A competition for the new brand will conclude by October 1.

Uzbekistan will create a new tourism brand, according to a decree by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on improving tourist infrastructure and increasing tourist flow, reports Azernews.

The goal is to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism products in both foreign and domestic markets and strengthen its image as a safe tourism destination.

The current tourism brand, registered in 2013, features the inscription “Uzbekistan,” mountains, a new moon, and a dome. This logo appears on souvenirs, tourist transport, airplanes, and other media.

The Tourism Committee has been tasked with holding a competition to create a new tourism brand by October 1.

To promote Uzbekistan as a top tourist destination in 2024-2025, the project plans to invite 50 foreign journalists, bloggers, vloggers, and influencers with an audience of over 10 million people.
