Kazakhstan is prepared to explore and invest in various projects in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, stated Ambassador Alim Bayel at the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan agricultural forum held at the Kazakh embassy.
“We are open to various opportunities and await specific proposals from the Azerbaijani side. Both our private sector and state are eager to invest in Karabakh,” Bayel remarked.
On green energy cooperation, Bayel highlighted the progress in implementing a trilateral agreement among Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to export alternative energy to Europe. He mentioned that energy and economic ministers have met twice, with another meeting scheduled in Kazakhstan. A feasibility study is underway to assess the project’s benefits.
On March 12, the Kurmangazy Children’s Creativity Center opened in Fuzuli, Azerbaijan, funded by Kazakhstan. The Kazakh BI Group will also help construct the Central District Hospital in Fuzuli.
In early May, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum to integrate their energy systems, aiming to produce and export green energy to Europe.
