Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is set to visit Saint Petersburg on December 25-26 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The working visit will see Mirziyoyev participating in key regional meetings, including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summits, according to the Uzbek Presidential Office.
During the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in an informal meeting of CIS state leaders.
As an observer, he will also attend the next session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, a pivotal platform for economic collaboration across member and observer states.
